One important lesson I have learned in my travels, whether it be in Europe, China or trying to communicate with my boyfriend's Italian-only speaking family, a warm smile goes a long way! It means the same thing in every place I've been. The simple human connection we cannot always get through modern modes of communication. "Smile. It's the second best thing you can do with your lips!"
